CABDA 2023 Bike Retailer Show

We had a great time showing off the Back9 Golf Bag Backpack at the CABDA Midwest Expo last week in Schaumburg! Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth!

We have been playing with the idea of selling the Back9 through retailers, and this was the perfect opportunity to connect with bike shops from around Chicago and the Midwest to understand the market and what they are looking for. At first, a lot of folks were surprised to see golf clubs at a bike show, but once they saw our bag in action it clicked. These small bike shops and bike advocacy organizations are all about getting more people biking, and the Back9 golf bag backpack is the perfect tool for golfers. As we explained, its' the only way to get to golf without a car. And of course our excellent bicycle rig helped demonstrate the use case 😀.

We walked away with a better understanding of the bike retail market, a lot of new connections, and a new approach to get the word out on the Back9. Stay tuned as we start to deploy the Back9 at select retailers around Chicago and Indiana in the near future!
